Cherry is the creator of the award-winning podcast Revision Path, which highlights black designers, developers and content creators.
Maurice Cherry lives his professional life by one motto: "Black designers matter." The Morehouse grad highlights black designers, developers and creators on his award-winning podcast, Revision Path. An educator and content creator, Cherry has been recognized for his adept commentary about the design world. Earlier this year, he won the Steven Heller Prize for Cultural Commentary from AIGA, and also was named one of Graphic Design USA's "People to Watch" in 2018. According to Julie Anixter, past executive director of AIGA, Cherry has "single-handedly brought more designers of color to the public's attention than perhaps any other platform. He is giving testimony to the power one person can have."
